Giving should be motivated by the purposes of our own heart. It should never be coerced or manipulated. We should give because we want to give and because God has put it in our own heart to give.

You can see more spiritual growth and change in your walk with Christ on a week-long Christian conference than you might possibly see in a whole year of regular church attendance and participation in Bible studies. A concentrated, multi-day experience of great Christian teaching, worship, prayer, confession, alone-time with God and celebration has an impact that is hard to describe

VOLUNTEER

The number one reason that most people volunteer in a church setting is to strengthen their relationship with God. Spending increased amounts of time in the church enhances our ability to do our duty — God’s work.

The church relies on the hard work of volunteers, so do your part to create a brighter future for your children, and their children too.

Instead of giving in a grudging way or out of necessity, God wants us to give cheerfully. The ancient Greek word for cheerful (hilaros, used only here in the New Testament) is the root for our English word hilarious. God wants us to give happily because that is how God Himself gives.
